This is the story of a collection of people who follow Jesus. We live in Littleton. We encounter people in the name of Jesus, we allow Jesus to turn us into disciples, we gather often, and we equip people to love and serve other people better.

We all have demons, don't face your alone***
"Faith is our relationship to and with God. And it is given life and meaning in our relationship to and with each other."
Isaiah 26:3 He will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Isaiah 26:16 Lord, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer.
Galatians 3: 21-22 Is the Law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
Psalm 61:1 Hear my cry, O God: listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to a rock that is higher than I.
Proverbs 23:18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
Mark

Bohanon"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it, and is safe (Proverbs 18:10).""Ground Zero"--a phrase that's become part of our late-breaking vocabulary, and the only way we can find words to describe the horrible place of destruction in New York City, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. Our hearts broke as we watched workers sifting through the rubble looking for more survivors and more miracles in the awful mess...brought about by the deliberate madness of man...and underwritten by the prince of the underworld, Satan himself! But a remarkable thing happened at Ground Zero...volunteer workers, churches, charitable organizations suddenly appeared on the scene, asking, "Can we help?" "What can we do?" Little girls made cookies for the volunteers...people in the neighborhood brought coffee to the workers, churches set up food and clothing centers...we saw GRACE at Ground Zero, underwritten by the Prince of Heaven, Jesus Christ Himself! And Ground Grace comes to YOU today, in the midst of YOUR Ground Zero...for Jesus Himself has said, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." So is THIS the end of the world? Only God knows--but we need not worry for our lives are in His hands--He is still Lord; He still reigns, EVEN at Ground Zero.Fighting fear, anxiety, uneasiness, anger, frustration...all the negatives of the enemy that pull you down, all the way down, to Ground Zero?? Then it's time to LOOK UP--for wherever there's a Ground Zero that ABASES, there's a Ground Grace that ABOUNDS. The God of all Grace is with you when you're at your lowest point--He wants to lift you up, to help you see what's going on from HIS perspective. It's all under His watchful eye--and His unlimited, all-empowering, never-failing, immeasurable GRACE is yours today! ...and that's just a thought or two from my heart to yours!Copyright 2001 by Peggie Bohanon, Springfield, MO. President's Address to StudentsThis is a special edition of Chalk Talk with information about President Barack Obama’s speech to students. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the President will address the nation’s school children via a live broadcast at 10 a.m. (Denver time). The speech will be carried live on the White House Web site and on CSPAN. According to the White House, the intent of the speech is to encourage students to work hard, set educational goals and take responsibility for their learning. School districts across the country have been asked to make the speech available to students. The decision about whether or not to show the speech is a school-based and classroom-based decision. Parents who do not want their child to view the speech should contact the school directly; alternate activities will be provided for students who opt out if their classroom is showing the speech. All classroom activities related to the President’s speech must be tied to the district’s curriculum and standards. Please contact your school if you have any questions or concerns. | ||
