This is the story of a collection of people who follow Jesus. We live in Littleton. We encounter people in the name of Jesus, we allow Jesus to turn us into disciples, we gather often, and we equip people to love and serve other people better.

Verses I am thinking about today from One Year Bible (Sept 17)

Isaiah 25:6-8 On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-
the best of meats and the finest wines,  On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever.  The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth.  The LORD has spoken.

Isaiah 26:3 He will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Isaiah 26:16 Lord, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

Galatians 3: 21-22  Is the Law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God?  Absolutely not!  For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.  But the scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

Psalm 61:1 Hear my cry, O God: listen to my prayer.  From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to a rock that is higher than I.

Proverbs 23:18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
